Why A Hire Kit?
Hire kits are great for several reasons:
• New to cloth – if you are new to cloth nappies and confused about which system is best for your baby, family and budget, a hire kit lets you try several styles of nappy and various brands (inc NZ made).
• You don’t have to invest in smaller size nappies that your baby grows out of quickly. A newborn/small hire kit allows for months of cloth nappying without the outlay for small sizes.
• Also the minimum hire term allows parents to make use of both the newborn and small sizes, as baby grows in those first few months.
How Does It Work?
• Book a kit (accompanied by the bond & hire agreement – available by contacting Little Critters) as early as possible. We will attempt to be flexible and accommodate short notice bookings.
• The kit will be delivered to you (in the Cambridge/Hamilton areas) and a full demonstration of the nappies.
• Everything you need is included in the kit. Including instructions, and the right to contact Little Critters with as many questions as you may have.
• We will attempt to be flexible about hire dates to accommodate early and late babies.
• If there is a particular brand or style you’d like to try, please ask, and we’ll try to source it if it is not already in the kit.
What’s In The Kit?
Everything you’ll need to get started:
• Approx 18 nappies in a variety of popular overseas and NZ made brands (inc natural fibre and organic brands)
• Gender neutral colours (boy or girl colours added if you know the sex of your baby)
• Newborn and Small sizes in the same kit, so you get to try different sizes and fits.
• Covers, inserts, boosters & liners
• Accessories
• Laundry products
• Instructions
• Free samples
• Feel free to ask if there is a particular brand or style you’d like to try
Cost
• $50 Bond – to be paid at booking and refunded at the end of the hire.
• $12 per week – 7 week minimum, but can be longer dependent on other bookings.
Conditions
• A hire agreement must be signed and returned with bond of $50 at the time of booking.
The bond holds your booking.
• Microfleece liners must be used with nappies to help keep them in good condition.
• Nappies must be cared for as per the instructions provided.
• If there is any major damage other than normal wear and tear bond will be retained.
